Winsor Castle Learn a little about Anson Perry Winsor, a pioneer in the Utah Territory in the 1870's. He was the first ranch manager at Winsor Castle a fortified ranch house built by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the herd of tithing cattle the church maintained in the area in support of the church members settling Saint George Utah. Winsor Castle is now officially known as the Pipe Spring National Monument and is owned and maintained by the National Park Service.
